Cralusso introduces fully natural Jelly Corn Rubber Maize

Scientists say it takes between 500 and 600 years for conventional plastic-based maize baits to decompose.

“Had Christopher Columbus used such baits when he discovered America, they would still be there in the environment, releasing toxic substances,” says Elod Berecki, of Hungarian bait and float maker Cralusso.

The company’s new environmentally-friendly, fully natural Jelly Corn Rubber Maize is made from raw materials used in the food industry and is flexible, like a conventional rubber maize. Described as a ‘new generation’ rubber maize, it is a digestible hookbait that contains food colouring agents that makes it more attractive to fish.

The slow sinking baits come in three sizes and are sold in air-tight storage boxes. Flavours include: Pineapple, Strawberry, Chocolate-Orange, N-Butyric Acid, Pepper-Sausage, Garlic and Brandy.

As an environmentally-friendly entry in the EFTTEX New Product Showcase Awards, the Jelly Corn Rubber Maize will be given a point advantage by the judges.
