Mustad continues rod roll-out with Detector Salt

Norwegian tackle giant O Mustad & Son entered the rod market earlier this year and debuted its first models at the ICAST trade show in the US in July.

And the company will be showing off more additions to its range in the EFTTEX Awards in October in the shape of the Detector Salt, which has been built and tested for the most advanced ultra-light saltwater techniques.

It is said to thrive on the coast when casting small spoons, spinners, micro-jigs and minnows. With a high performance carbon blank made from a blend of two different IM7 (30T) fibres, the moderate fast action offers the sensitivity and strength an ultra-light angler expects from a rod.

The Detector Salt series features high density EVA grips with Japanese shrink tool extensions and a SeaGuide XMS reel seat for a light and comfortable feel. Fuji braid-friendly guides ensure a quality fishing experience.
