TFO hits EFTTEX Awards with two-handed fly rod with wider sweet spot

Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO), which made its EFTTEX debut in Amsterdam in 2018, is continuing its march into Europe through this year’s digital awards.

It will be introducing the PRO III TH two-handed fly rod series to anglers in the region. They have been designed to provide new and intermediate anglers with a tool with a wider sweet spot. This allows casters to better feel the rod load, understand when it is not properly loaded and refine the steps to properly place a fly in front of a fish.

TFO says the PRO III TH has evolved from previous models to offer anglers of all skill levels an improved casting rod at incredible value. It says: “With over 20 years of building rods in this category, the new PRO III TH has a confirmed lineage of success. We have modernised it and styled it in a way to fit the modern angling scene, while keeping performance and efficiency true to its past.”

The rods are a moderate taper, which is both easy to load and cast while being powerful enough to confidently land fish. It is offered in six models in a two-weight through to eight, in lengths of 11ft to 13ft.

All two-handed rods feature a grain and gram window for easy pairing. “Whether you are looking for lightweight trout spey rod, an indicator/chuck and duck style or a longer rod for shooting heads and sinking lines, the Pro III TH has you covered.”

Pro III two-handed rods feature composite cork with EVA foam accents and black, fully anodised aluminium reel seats. They are topped with appropriately sized SiC style stripping guides and double foot anodised snake guides.

All Pro III rods are packed in a labelled rod sock and rod tube and come with TFO’s full lifetime warranty.
