Spooking catfish with noisy hammering is a thing of the past

Sanger brand Uni Cat says it has finally succeeded in developing a rod stand that can be attached to the ground almost silently.

Large and experienced catfish are easily spooked by the sound of hammering conventional rod stands into the ground. With the Silent Drill Rack this is a thing of the past. The lower steel part with its coarse thread is first screwed into the ground with the support of an aluminum bolt, then the upper part is easily attached, aligned and fixed.

The silent penetration is only one of the advantages, because the Silent Drill Rack, which consists of two parts, can also be adjusted to the direction of the rod, even after it’s finally fixed in the ground, by loosening the ‘never lost’ screw.

The kick-back protection prevents the rod from being thrown out of the rod stand in case of a heavy bite.
