Second oldest fly brand still going strong with launch of new box

Richard Wheatley, the second oldest brand in continuous operation in fly fishing, has introduced a new style of handmade aluminum fly box, the Hybrid XL Intruder.

It marries a deep fly box base with a thin Slimline lid. This combination maximises the interior space for ‘Intruder’ style flies. This box offers the perfect blend of interior space without exterior bulk.

It features deep streamer foam inside the base of the box. On this foam is a corner block with an embedded section of wire hooks. These hooks are meant to hold the flies with plenty of room for any number of flies.

In the lid of the box is Easy Grip foam. This foam allows for additional hooks to be kept securely.
