Tackle giant highlights ICAST NPS entries
Rapala US has revealed its line-up of entries in the New Product Showcase Awards at the largest fishing tackle trade show in the world.
From lures to ice fishing gear, apparel and accessories, the Finnish tackle supplier has something for every angler at this year’s ICAST. Among its entries are:
- OG ROCCO 5 (Freshwater Lure category): Buoyant, round balsa bait with square circuit board lip. Armed with VMC Black Nickel 1X hybrid trebles.
- R12 Lithium Aerator (Accessories): Provides up to 35 hours of run time on a single 2Ah battery charge. Portable, it matches up the power source from the same batteries in the Rapala R12 Heavy Duty Lithium Fillet Knife.
- StrikeMaster Lithium 40V Power Station (Ice fishing): A portable package that has it all, says Rapala. Using the same Lithium 40V battery as the augers, it powers a Bluetooth speaker, LED area light with multiple USB ports for a variety of electronic devices. Includes universal positive and negative terminals for powering fish locators and portable LED light kits.
- X-RAP Magnum Stick 17 (Saltwater hard bait): Weighted for long casts and designed for fast, aggressive retrieves, it swims in wide S curves. Has a durable, plastic body in either translucent with internal scalloped foil or chrome finishes.
