Lightweight rods providing unmatched durability and moderate fast action!
Shimano designed the Trevala B from head to toe to accommodate the various fishing techniques used by saltwater anglers. Trevala B’s well-balanced rod lineup makes use of proven TC4 Construction, which wraps two layers of T-glass with inner and outer spirals of high modulus graphite fibres. Fiberglass gives saltwater anglers the durability, action, and powerful arc they require, while graphite makes the blanks lighter and more sensitive. The combination of the high carbon butt section and the TC4 tip section reduces rod twist and allows for more lure action and control. The new Trevala B rod series also has a faster recovery rate, which increases action when working a jig.
The all-new Trevala B series offers an array of rods with varying lengths, powers, actions, and purposes, with 8 casting models and 7 spinning rods designed for use with PowerPro braided line. Traditional jigging rods in the 5’8″ and 6′ lengths complement longer models ideal for casting large live baits and lures. As rods get longer, power ratings decrease from Extra Extra Heavy to Light. Trevala B rod models are refined to match specific applications and fisheries.
Corrosion-resistant SeaGuide Aluminum Oxide guides are standard on all Trevala B rods. Casting rods use K-style guides, whereas spinning rods use single-foot guides with deep-drawn frames to protect the guide inserts.
The next generation of light and durable Trevala B casting and spinning rods are coveted tools for demanding saltwater anglers plying harsh coastal environments, will be available soon from Shimano authorised dealers with an MSRP of $189.99.
