Flagship model enjoys structural and ergonomic redesign
Temple Reef’s flagship slow pitch jigging rod has been given a significant structural and ergonomic design to give anglers better strength, stability, comfort, balance and sensitivity.
The Singapore-based designer, Randy Chin told us: “The entire handle of the Levitate is now of a monobloc design and we adopted an inverted triangular geometry and called it the Nabla ∇.”
• Strength and weight: The inverted triangular geometry design is inherently more robust than the circular shape, so it needs less material to achieve flexural rigidity, resulting in a stiffer and lighter blank.
• Stability and control: It has a proprietary Flat Top design along the plane of the rear handle section, which allows for more stability and support for the forearm to rest on the rod during slow pitch jigging.
Comfort: The rear end is now nearly 30% slimmer than its predecessor. In addition, the new Slim Grip design is only 26mm at its widest, ensuring comfort in the heat of battle.
