Karmik Outdoors enters EFTTEX Awards with solution to lost gear
Lost fishing gear could be a thing of the past thanks to US company Karmik Outdoors, which has entered the EFTTEX New Product Showcase with an innovative decal.
These coded decals – transfers – allows people to have their outdoor gear identified without their personal information being displayed. The company makes decals that fit all fishing accessories from nets to lure/fly boxes and fishing rods.
Company owner Robert Gillingham said: “We have an Anywhere decal that goes great on fishing rods, nets, keys and cameras. Our Square decals are designed for fly boxes, nets, tackle boxes, lifejackets and other fishing or boating gear. We also have an aluminum Bag Tag that is wonderful for backpacks, boat bags, luggage or other soft goods.
“Our service has been recording an average return rate of 78% within one day of losing an item. We’re trying to help people not to lose outdoor gear anymore. For a few dollars you can protect your valuable gear forever with no annual fee or subscription required.”
