Carp brand launches ‘best’ rod pod ever

That’s the proud boast of the UK company’s Product Manager, Richard Griffiths, following the 2022 launch.

  • Why is he so bullish? He says it offers more in terms of versatile rod positioning, stability and footprint. “It suits any venue,” he adds.
  • What do anglers think? Griffiths told Tacklestream that response has been ‘unbelievable’ with the first batch selling out within a week of arrival.
  • Give me some spec. Each individual height and angle is adjustable and the leg mountings can be positioned anywhere along the twin main bars. The two versions feature Solar’s unique ratchet system for individual leg adjustment and there are lock-down anchor points on the front and back bridge sections.
  • What is the difference between the two versions? The Euro has 16 inch and 24 inch adjustable legs, while they are nine inches on the Universal. The legs on the Euro are also thicker for more strength and stability.
