New recruit added to distance range
Fox International has expanded its Horizon X5 S rod line with a 12ft 6ins 3.5lb model.
The UK carp brand claims it was compelled to act due to high demand and a number of its consultants requesting the change. Anglers now have the option of choosing between an abbreviated handle and a full shrink handle.
The X5 S up close
For a stronger, lighter, thinner and more powerful blank, the X5-S rods employ cutting-edge carbon technology. Several multi-directional layers of thinner carbon cloth with nanofibre technology are electro-bonded during the curing process. All push-over joints have been built with extra carbon reinforcement. The X5-S blanks have superior recovery to improve casting distance and accuracy while maintaining a superb playing action. These rods are now in a class of their own, with a stylish gunsmoke finish, says FOX.
