Feature packed perfection for float and feeder anglers
The Aero XR is a technically advanced match and feeder reel that has all of the features that top competition anglers require. These include an anti-reverse feature, a lightweight CI4+ body and rotor, and advanced HAGANE gearing for unrivalled performance. If you are a competition angler or fish with a float or feeder and need a reel to match your skill level, the Aero XR is the reel for you.
All of the reels are designed to work in tandem with Shimano’s Aero match and feeder rods, giving you an enviable combination for a competitive advantage. With their super smooth waterproof drags and an additional anti-reverse feature, you can fish directly off the drag when using stronger lines, back-wind when using fine lines, or a combination of both.
The 3000 size is ideal for all float fishing and close range feeder fishing whilst the 4000 size is ideal for larger float work or mid-range feeder fishing. Finally, it’s the 5000 size offering that’s ideal for longer feeder work or mid-range heavy feeder work.
With a G-Free CI4+ body and rotor, all models are incredibly light, with the 4000 weighing in at just 250g, a significant reduction compared to competitor models of the same size. The precision of the lightweight rotation, which is a result of the CI4+ Rotor construction and the HAGANE Gear, X-SHIP and Silent Drive technology, is an additional benefit that you can feel.
Other features include the best AR-C Cold Forged Aluminium spools (including a spare spool) and a line reducer to reduce the reel’s line capacity. The larger 5000 model includes an additional reducer for long-range feeder fishing with braid. The XR’s feeder fishing pedigree is reinforced by a strong and line-safe metal line clip and a very direct screw-in handle.
The Aero XR’s understated ‘stealth-like’ looks are stunning, and when combined with the advanced engineering technology, they can‘t fail to inspire your confidence to perform at the highest level.
