New jig offers wider search coverage

Popular Japanese lure maker, Zeake International, is renowned for its R-Sardine shore jigging rigs, which are firm favourites among anglers throughout the country.

It has recently introduced what it describes as a new type of jig the Z-Bit, which has been designed for slow sinking jigging.

  • What’s its main feature? It is made of slow density zinc alloy which makes it larger than traditional jigs, allowing it to slow down the speed of the fall without affecting the weight. It also delivers extra casting distance to allow anglers to cover a wider search area.
  • How many sizes are available? Three (1g/2g/3g) for super light jigging and three (20g/30g/40g) for shore jigging and light jigging.
  • What’s at the sharp end? Both versions have twin assist hooks at the front and a treble at the rear.
  • When is it available? On sale now in 10 colours for the light game models and nine shore versions.
