The Engel High-Performance Backpack Cooler differs from its competitors in that it is entirely welded, whereas most of its competitors are sewn. Warm air is kept out by welding all seams, extending the life of the ice or ice packs inside. Welded seams ensure no air or water leaks and allow the soft-sided BP25 to keep beverages cold.

The BP25 has an outer shell made of tough 840 denier fibres for maximum strength and abrasion resistance. The exterior is reinforced with a Thermal Plastic Urethane (TPU) film, which adds strength and puncture resistance. The cooler has one inch of closed-cell foam insulation, which prevents air from passing through and improves the cooler’s thermal range.

When buckled in its upright position, its innovative, easily accessible roll-top closure provides a watertight seal as well as an alternative method of carrying. The BP25 was designed for long-lasting comfort with its foam padded back support, ventilated mesh padded shoulder straps, and chest strap. Furthermore, the backpack cooler can be carried using one of its three grab handles for short distances.

The BP25 has a capacity of 25 quarts and can keep ice for up to three days in ideal conditions. This backpack cooler, like other Engel soft-sided coolers, has an integrated bottle opener, a water-resistant front pocket, a solid base for stability, and Engel’s patent-pending vacuum valve technology for optimum performance. Also included are d-rings and side straps for added functionality, as well as a mesh side pocket for your Engel Tumbler!
