These pliers are 30% lighter with no loss of strength, have a better and more comfortable grip, and have a narrower nose tip.
Hinge Design and Split Ring Tool
The cutters, made in the United States, are made of the most durable and toughest tool material and have been precision ground to cut through the strongest braid while also easily cutting softer wire. The hinge design is rock solid, giving the jaws a vice-like grip with nearly no jaw twist, allowing anglers to remove large hooks with ease.
These pliers come standard with Visser’s patent-pending split ring feature where the tool is separate from the jaw. Typically you’ll find that many of todays pliers on the market incorporate the split ring removal tool on the nose of the pliers however not with these!
Replacement cutters are always available and can be ordered without the split ring notch if you do not use split rings.
A high-quality lanyard is included for added security and loss prevention. They also include a full belt loop that can be adjusted in two positions, as well as a holster that can be fully adjusted for either right- or left-hand use.
There are two sizes available: 6.5-inch and 7.5-inch. The pliers have a lifetime warranty, while the cutters, holster, and lanyard have a one-year warranty.
